Intelligent Energy - Europe
The Intelligent Energy - Europe Programme is the EU's tool for funding action to move us towards a more energy intelligent Europe.
The second Intelligent Energy – Europe programme started in early 2007. Intelligent Energy may be for those planning a new build, teaching construction or interested in enhancing any curriculum areas to include environmental technology.
Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE) is a programme that offers up to 75% of costs for projects that enhance or promote environmental technologies across Europe. Three partner countries within the EU are needed for each application and applicants can either lead a project or join an existing partnership through the partner search facility online.
What the IEE programme will fund:
Projects in various areas such as capacity building, spreading of know-how, exchanges of experience, policy input, awareness raising, education and training.
There will be a new call for Intelligent Energy early in 2009.
