Topic:       EXPERIENCES OF INSPECTION UNDER THE NEW COMMON INSPECTION FRAMEWORK

Nick Goffin (Principal) and Steve Martin (VP and college nominee) from Gateway VI Form College, will share their recent inspection experience, focusing on:

-                data and data analysis/management

-                safeguarding issues

-                lesson observations

-                the emphasis on outputs (raw results) at the expense of Value-Added, context, entry criteria and wider support systems.

Stuart Wesselby (VP and college nominee) from Tresham College of Further and Higher Education, will give a formal presentation and bring successful inspection resources to share with colleagues.  The presentation will focus on making the arguments and surviving the process in relation to:

-                pre-inspection planning                    -      safeguarding and E&D

-                learner voice                                 -      data  

-                lesson observations
