There are two themes for this meeting.

1                  The New Procedures for Internal Lead Verifiers

How are colleges responding to the new standards for Lead Internal Verifiers?  Howard Wilson, Regional Quality Manager (Central England East) from Edexcel, will give a presentation on the new standards and facilitate an activity.  Discussion will include:

2           Update from LSIS on Regional and National Support

             Lorna Freakley, Regional Manager (East Midlands) for the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) is attending to consult and inform managers about the new nature of LSIS support, including:

             -         LSIS organisational health checks

             -         New benchmarking data service

             -         Current and upcoming funding opportunities.
