Topic:  DEEP LEARNING AT THE HIGHER SKILLS LEVEL

Our second network meeting of the academic year focuses on deep learning, a key priority for HE in FE personnel, as it enables learners to understand ideas for themselves, relate ideas to previous knowledge and experience, check evidence and relate it to conclusions, examine logic cautiously and critically and become actively interested in course content.

The meeting will be led by Peter Scales of the University of Derby, author of ‘Teaching in the Lifelong learning Sector.’
