In the last twenty years the National Conference of the Guild of Bricklayers has become the pre-eminent CPD for construction tutors and those associated with the brick industry. In recent years we have got a really committed group of tutors coming to the conference, which has made the days extremely valuable and would like more new tutors making this their first choice training event.

This is a special year fro the whole of the UK with the Olympics coming to town and I am sure that having the conference at the NHBC Headquarters in Milton Keynes will make this a memorable event, and will be accessible to many tutors old and new. For the first time in many years we come to the conference with a reasonably settled curriculum which will give us the opportunity to consolidate what we already perceive should be happening and look forward to the impact of the new technologies, ensuring that the wet trades remain at the forefront of the industry.
