This network shares good practice in aspects of equality, diversity and inclusion practice. The topic is EDI training that works, with a focus on autism. 2 April 2012 is World Autism Day, and part of The Autism Act 2009 was to develop specialist skills in autism practice and to promote knowledge and understanding of the condition. Kevin Pakenham from NORSACA (the working name of the Nottingham Regional Society for Adults and Children with Autism), a Registered Charity, has kindly agreed to give a presentation on Aspergers Syndrome. Martin Cooke (RSC-JISC East Midlands) will also share the benefits of a new e learning tool, MyStudyBar, to support learners with literacy-related difficulties.
