NIACE has been commissioned by BIS to carry out some development work following on from the Colleges in their Community’s Inquiry. This work includes developing a framework for a community curriculum for colleges and a framework for community engagement, responsiveness and accountability. In order to inform this work NIACE is holding six invitation seminars, with 12 -15 participants in each seminar.

Those attending the seminars don’t necessarily need to be experts in these areas, but people who are developing interesting practice and would have something to contribute to a seminar discussion. We are particularly interested in where a whole college approach is being developed, rather than just individual pockets of good practice, so this suggests that anyone attending will have some responsibility for management and implementation.

If you would like to attend a seminar or want further information please contact Alistair Lockhart Smith, Project Officer, NIACE on alistair.lockhart@niace.org.uk
